Merry Christmas!

I've had the morning to myself to reflect and get ready for today. I'm feeling quite emotional because I am so blessed. I have amazing kids, wonderful family and friends and the most amazing man who dearly loves me.

Honestly, I am most excited about all the Christmas surprises tomorrow! I am hoping some of you will comment here about your gifts. I feel so giddy just thinking about it!

My Christmas cards JUST went out - the last of them yesterday lol. In a few days I will post both of them since I made 2 different styles. Leave me some comments so I know you loved them. :)

Enjoy today and tomorrow with your loved ones and don't forget about those who might not have families in the area to visit.

I hope everyone is enjoying all of their holiday preparations. I have been doing my shopping a little at a time and lots online. I don't care much for going to the stores this time of the year - people are so cranky! C'mon people, it is Christmas so at least pretend you are full of holiday cheer haha. We are all so busy and have way too much to do, but we should all sit back and remember why we are celebrating this month and we should all enjoy being with our families. Right now my life is crazy with my business and raising and providing for my children alone, but I do not let any of that get the best of me. Usually. LOL!

That said, I have the best clients ever! I have truly enjoyed seeing all of you the past few months and making your portraits and holiday cards. I will post a bunch after Christmas since so many are surprises. I wish I could be in many of your homes Christmas morning to see your faces! Email me and let me know how you loved your gifts. :-)

I have a few really fun Limited Edition sessions coming up soon, but first I am taking a break for a little bit. Just a little one since I am shooting a wedding 2 days after Christmas and doing a family portrait 3 days after. I am also going to visit some family out of town.

Thanksgiving

So, I've decided not to do my 365 blog anymore....but then I miss being able to share some of the more personal and fun parts of my life so I'm moving it all over here! I'll still post photos from my sessions - I know you love that. :-) And, I'll post stuff about ME! Finally, a place where I can talk about ME! haha...just kidding, of course. I'm going to start with Thanksgiving....I hope all of you had a fabulous day and reflected on all you are thankful for....I know I did! Here are some pictures to show just that! I really have the best children and boyfriend in the world! This is my grandma with each of my kids.

Little Angel

Little baby A is completely adored by her parents! She is Daddy's little girl for sure. I can't wait to watch her grow during her first year.

I really think....

Miss A just might make me take one of these images down. I think it shows how fun she is and that her kids really don't mind if she acts a little silly sometimes. This was a really fun session - even with all the millions of mosquito bites we all ended up with! Her kids were such great sports about the whole thing. Mine would never agree to this haha.

I am pretty sure...

these boys thought I was crazy! haha. I worked hard to get them to smile and show their true personality. I think my efforts were worth it.

Cool Autumn Weather!

We are finally having a change in weather....I am LOVING it! Ask me that again in December or January haha. I don't like extreme weather, but LOVE the crisp autumn air. I try to get outside and enjoy it as much as I can, but this is also my busy holiday rush.

So, speaking of the holiday rush, don't forget to call and book your holiday portrait session as soon as you can. We are not open Saturdays and Sundays are nearly full. The rest of October is pretty much full unless you have a newborn or you are a Baby's First Year member - please call me right away to schedule that.

My Girl...

I'm trying to get THE image to enlarge of each of my children. I'd love some opinions here! I've have many more, but these were my favorite so far. When I get to them I will add some more to show. I think S is so beautiful on the inside and the outside. She really has a big heart and is such a good girl. I hope I captured that! She is such a gift.

Sweet Newborn!

This baby girl was so sweet and beautiful. It's so obvious her parents just adore her...and each other! They were really fun to work with.

My cousin brought her new baby down from MI for his portraits. He's such a little sweetie and I really enjoyed seeing him for the first time!
